During CNY Holiday...

A few points from last studio meeting:

Stage I Research
1. Hikoko mentioned there was a big hole missing and what I interpreted the hole was the development of changing values
2. We should define what and where exactly is the core (could be different in different cases). We could do so by 'stripping' the core - is the lift lobby a core? is the staircase a core? is the building material core? We should be able to give explanation on why the core is a core.
3. We should keep researching while we are on Stage II so that at the end we could have enough information for the book-making
4. *cough cough* line weight.

Stage II
1. Five groups were formed - Lawson, Lanz and Abby (Shanghai), Kay and Bill (Bangkok), Michael and Carol (Singapore), Der and Choi (Tokyo), Jacqui and Tracy (Seoul)
2. Things listed on Stage II should be finished except the last two items
3. Typical Core for five types of buildings in Hong Kong: Commercial, Industrial, Public Housing, Private Housing and Institutional should be studied, especially how Hong Kong's regulations shape the core.
